Is bacteria dead or alive?
It is alive.





Reasons:


It can reproduce, it eats, does not need a host to live (like virus which is dead), and it reacts to the enviroment. It has multiple functions and organelles in cells if it is a single or multi.





Also, alot of the answers you got are wrong. They are confused from avirus and a bacteria. It does not depend or it is not under debate.





Those guys are thinking of a virus.

Reply:Bacteria are alive. The reason is that they fulfil the 7 requirements of life. MRSGREN. Movemement (well some do), respriation, senstivity, growth, reproduction, excretion and nutrition.....yes to all these. Therefore we consider them alive (unlike viruses!!).
