What bacteria causes Typhus?

Typhus is caused by one or two types of bacteria.

1) Rickettsia Typhi

2) Rickettsia Prowazeki

There are several different names given to such infections.

It is an infectious disease that is spread by lice or fleas.

The type of Typhus depends on which bacteria causes the infection.

I hope that this is useful and here's a great web that provides a " table ".
