When white bloods engulf the bacteria, does it leave the cell membrane, which it entered to get rid bacteria?

If it does, I would say that is uses exocytosis...leaving the cell membrane...bu then were does it go? Please use layman's terms, I have been out of school for awhile and I am just learning how endocytosis and exocytosis works.

Thanks =)

they engulfe so it is endo - exo means getting something out of the cell

macrophages - the cells you are referring to - engulfe bacteria and "digest" them so no exo
