i have two piranha in a 55 gal tank. I have had them for almost a month now and i have begun to notice all along the inside walls of my tank there are little hair like looking things stuck on every wall. I dont know if it algae or what so anyone have a idea of what it is??

Yup, sounds like algae. If given enough time and nutrients, algae will not only turn you aquarium walls green, but in some places it will grow hair-like extensions.
The best remedy for this is a good scrub with an algae pad. You of course may need to wear gloves while doing this.

Reply:It sunds like algae to me. Seeing as you have piranhas, you don't really want an algae eater fish.
You can buy an algae remover magnet at almost any pet store that works great.
