Is mrsa bacteria dangerous?

can a person catch it easly i was in hospital recently with a room mate who had it with out me knowing it

Is mrsa bacteria dangerous?
It is a resistant bacteria. Which means antibiotics wont kill it. It is very contagious, but are you sure your room mate had it?Patients with mrsa are put on isolation meaning that even nurses have to be extra careful around them, and I promise you that there is no way you would be put in a room with someone who had it.
Reply:mrsa is lethal if the patient doesn't respond to antibiotics.
Reply:Yes, it is a bacteria resistant to most antibiotics. IV Vancomycin is the drug of choice.
