How do bacteria reproduce?

It's called binary fission. They replicate their DNA and divide fairly quickly to create clones. There is diversity in bacteria because of mutations when replicating the DNA. They Do Not go through mitosis because mitosis occurs in eukaryotes only, which have a nucleus unlike bacteria which are prokaryotes

Reply:asexually - i.e they clone themselves about once every twenty minutes.
