Reply:Soooooooo many. My ex husband got bit by our cat when she started having a seizure (result of flea medicine!) He had to go to the hospital for the bite and he was put on all sorts of medications. The doctor said that cats have so much bacteria in their mouth that they are one of the worst bites you can get.

Reply:To me the question is how many bacteria do we have in our mouths? How many in a kid's mouth. The thing the doctor said may be true. It is true cats bites easily infect. But I have been told that the way a cat bites is different from dogs or humans, in that it goes straight in rather than grinding. It usually goes deeper and takes bacteria off the skin into the wound with it.
