......ecosystem and human culture?

I appreciate your help!

Since most bacteria are not pathogenic, what are the important roles they play in the...?
I'm sure there are many answers to this question, a couple are:

Some bacteria are autotrophic and get their energy through photosynthesis which is then consumed by different heterotrophs. Some heterotrophic bacteria decompose dead organic matter and release nutrients locked in dead tissues back in to the ecosystem. and are consumed by heterotrophs

Also, one type of bacteria, Cyanobacteria, produce specialize nitogen-fixing cells called heterocysts. The heterocysts incorporate atmispheric nitrogen into a form useful for producing amino acids and other nitrogen containing molecules.
Reply:Bacteria help to decompose biomass to inorganic compounds that can be used by plants. Rizobium is the bacterium in the root of soybean that fix nitrogen. Bacteria help humans to make yogurt, cheese, sauerkraut, etc.
