How much bacteria does hand sanitizer remove?

There are different levels.

99.9% is called 3-log removal.

99.99% is called NaCL efficiency

Hand sanitizers remove either 99.9 or 99.99% of "common" bateria.

HOWEVER, if you look, you will see that soap does exactly the same thing!

How much bacteria does hand sanitizer remove?
it depends on the product.....some say 70% and some say 99% germ free...
Reply:most hand sanitizers remove about 99.9%.
Reply:I say the stuff doesn't actually remove anything. It just merely kills some bacteria. Remember that it also kills "good" bacteria that is often need to get rid of the "bad" bacteria. You are also just mixing around the dirt. It does not work on proteins. (such as the peanut protein) The proteins still linger. The best thing to do is to find some SOAP AND WATER
